Fantasy Club Cricket – Week 1

The points are in for the first week of Uphill Castle’s fantasy cricket, and they see Dave Wilcox’s ‘The Gas’ take an early lead with an impressive 490 points, thanks mostly to 1st team all-rounder Rob Taylor’s unbeaten 59 and 2nd team opener Gareth Lloyd’s 91.

It was a close-run contest for this week’s MVP with Paddy losing out by 3 points to Rob Taylor who scored a total of 104 taking into account his bowling figures.

All to play for still as Chappers (Kieran) did his best to handicap those that selected him by getting a negative score. Look out for the team sheets later, and ensure any transfers are made before midday on Saturday.
