Somerset Cricket Foundation’s FREE Street Cricket Sessions
Has your son or daughter ever played cricket before? Would they like to give it a try?
The Somerset Cricket Foundation is bringing fun, informal cricket straight into the community with no experience needed and where everyone is welcome!
These FREE sessions are aimed at ALL children, aged 8-12
Perfect for children who are new to cricket and a great way to:
- Try cricket in a friendly environment
- Develop teamwork and communication skills
- Build confidence
- Make new friends
- Get active and learn new skills
Fun, relaxed and friendly sessions with lots of games, challenges and cricket activities.
Any Cost? Nope, they are FREE to attend.
Any Equipment Needed? Nope, bats and balls are provided.
Whether your child has never picked up a bat or just wants to try something new, Street Cricket is a great way to get active, meet new friends and discover the fun of cricket.
Where: Indoors at Weston College, Loxton Campus, Health & Active Skills Living Centre, BS23 4QY

Major Square Renovation Work Underway

Uphill Castle Cricket Club is undertaking major renovation and levelling work on both of its cricket squares, funded by an ECB grant. The extracted soil is being reused to improve the main ground's outfield, with the entire project scheduled for completion by the second week of September.
